Paul Agostino Bellando, a gentle and charming soul with a wonderful sense of humor, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, in Edgewater, Florida, while in hospice care. He was born on July 25, 1946, in the small town of Antrodoco, Italy.

Paul was preceded in death by his loving parents, Angela (Forte) and Alfredo Bellando, as well as his brothers, Roddy and Bruno. He is survived by his brother, Mario, and sister-in-law, Charlotte, of Greenville, South Carolina. Paul also leaves behind beloved nieces, nephews, and their children across the United States, Scotland, and New Zealand.

Paul's professional life was a colorful journey that began as a travel agent in Boston. He later ventured into many other fields, including home health care, the hospitality industry, and security services. No matter where he was, Paul's kind spirit and good-natured demeanor shone through. In recent years, he found great joy and comfort in his Tuesday Bible study class. He cherished the group for both its spiritual and social blessings. Paul was always grateful for the support of his many dear friends and neighbors, and they can be assured of how much their kindness meant to him.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Paulie, Paulie, my precious one. Paulie was the first man to join our Bible study in 2018. He came and was soooo very faithful. After one class, he asked if he could talk to me. He asked several questions and then commited his life to Christ! He was so committed to his job of making sure each person had a Bible and and collecting them after class and faithful to participate in whatever capacity he could to ensure we were a close family unit. He was so gentle, kind and never speaking negatively of anyone. He had such a sense of humor and we women loved to make him blush. When his nephew would come and visit him, he would get his hair cut and beard trimmed and looking so handsome. We would make such a fuss over him and he knew just how much we loved him. He is a man who shared his personel testimony with us and some of his dreams. He is irreplacable but I know he is enjoying his time with Jesus and we will see him again in our heavenly home.

I loved Paulie Paul.

We were in Bible Study together here at W.C.

I got to know him better at a dinner party at W.C.

He sounded like he had a very wonderful and magical life with all his traveling.

Will miss being able to hear of more of his adventures but we have eternity when I get to heaven.

I know he'll be one of the 1st people to greet me.

So many times in our lives, we cross paths with people of different backgrounds, likes and dislikes, ideas, and ideals. We may be of different faiths or cultures, but one thing is clear we are all human. I knew Paul for only about 3 1/2 years, but there was always something about him that I liked. If someone had told me to pinpoint one thing, I don’t think I could’ve. He was kind and kind hearted. He was soft spoken and gentle. He had only had kind words for people. I know Paul liked sweets like cake, pie, cookies, and candy. Paul also liked being a little flirtatious when the moment warranted it. I specifically remember one particular day when I had taken Paul a box of treats, including cookies and candy at Christmas time. I remember him commenting to me that I had beautiful eyes. I do believe he made me blush. I also remember Paul going to Bible study hour and making sure that everyone had one of the Bibles out of the cabinets to follow along during that hour. And when the Bible study hour was over, Paul would then pick up all the Bibles and put them back in the cabinet.
I didn’t know Paul in his younger years, but I am glad that I had the opportunity to know him for the short time he was my neighbor and I will miss him.
