Janel Harrer, 49, passed away on April 29, 2024. Janel was born in Manassas, Virginia on August 19, 1974.
She graduated from New Smyrna High School and then went on to study at the University of South Florida, graduating with a degree in Criminal Justice. Janel had a short career as a probation officer for the state of Florida.
She is predeceased by her father, Ronald Harrer, mother, Sheryl Harrer and brother, Ronald Harrer, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas Callahan of Port Orange, and the proud mother of her fur baby Maggie.
In lieu of flowers the family would like any contributions to go to your local animal shelter and rescue.
