It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carlos Manuel Lao (August 7, 1958 – June 11, 2026).
Carlos was a hardworking construction worker who took great pride in building homes and communities, as well as the lasting friendships he made throughout his career. He enjoyed spending time at his local hangout, the excitement of electronic slot machines, and sharing stories and laughter in good company.
A devoted father, Carlos is survived by his children, Jessica and Shawn Lao. He was preceded in death by his son, Randyn Lao; his mother, Manuela Lao; and his brothers, Radame and Richard Lao. His family finds comfort in knowing he has been reunited with them. He will be deeply missed by the many friends and loved ones touched by his kindness and humor.
