Arthur E. Wante

Arthur E. “Art” Wante, 81, Palm Coast, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 18, 2023. He was born October 21, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan to parents, Arthur and Henrietta Tyberghein Wante. After rising to the honor of Eagle Scout as a young man, he then enjoyed a lifelong love of motorcycles and boating. Art was an engineering manager for Ford Motor Co. in Dearborn, Michigan and after his retirement in 1997 he moved to Palm Coast and became a master gardener. He will be missed by his son, Steve (Micki) Wante; former wife, Joyce Charlet Wante; two grandchildren, Desiree and Ben Wante; two great grandchildren, Carter and Jax Wante and nephew, Mike (Vickie) Harrington. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, James Arthur Wante, his second wife, Vicki and a sister, Diane Harrington. There are no services planned. In lieu of flowers, please try to go out and plant a tree!
